Castor Oil, the Egyptian Marvel

Ancient Egyptians were marveled for their invention and myriad of beauty enhancement discoveries. Castor oil is one of such marvels. This oil is indigenous in Eastern Africa and it has a very rich history. They have been found in Egyptian tombs dating back to 4000BC. The slow-burning oil was also mostly used to fuel lamps.
