What is Tooth Sensitivity?

Sensitivity is the short, sharp pain experienced when eating or drinking something cold, hot, sweet, sour or spicy. This is because of exposed dentine – the inner core of the tooth surrounding the nerve. This can lead to other problems if not treated.

What Causes Sensitive Teeth?

Dentinal hypersensitivity, or tooth sensitivity, is a common dental problem. It’s a condition that can develop over time, as a result of common problems such as receding gums and enamel wear. Directions:

Adults and children 12 years of age and older:

1. Apply at least a 1-inch strip of product onto a soft bristle toothbrush.

2. Brush teeth thoroughly for at least 1 minute twice a day (morning and evening), and not more than 3 times a day, or as recommended by a dentist or doctor. Make sure to brush all sensitive areas of the teeth. Minimize swallowing. Spit out after brushing.
