Li-ion Batteries & Charger

Primary cell batteries are great, but rechargeable lithium-ion batteries are better. Sold separately, the BA 70 battery and L 70 charger will take the battery life of your transmitter from 8 hours to 12 hours per charge and will save you the hassle of constantly needing to replace your 2x AA batteries over time. This is one small accessory that will make a big difference in your workflow as you continue to use your EW-D system day-in and day-out.

Evolution Wireless Digital eliminates the guesswork by providing an easy-to-use Auto Scan feature that sets you up with the best available frequencies, regardless of your location. Whether you’re in a big city or a small town, on tour or at your local church, EW-D makes single or multi-channel setups fast and effortless, no technical expertise required

Intelligent Switching Diversity

A wireless microphone emits signals in all directions. Signals interact with the room and arrive at an antenna at different times, causing dropouts that vary with microphone movement. To avoid dropouts, most receivers operate with two antennas, always using the stronger signal. However, switching between antennas often produces audio artifacts in analog systems. Luckily, with a digital stream, we can segment the audio from other data. To prevent audio glitches, Sennheiser’s Intelligent Switching Diversity detects and switches to the stronger signal quickly between the audio data, allowing you to roam freely on stage without fear of dropouts or static bursts.
