SENCH Side Threading Needles Sench needles have the patented slot in the side of the eye and come in a variety of sizes. All have sharp points. They are great for basic mending tasks and simple embroidery. The needle chosen should be no bigger than the weave of the material. This will prevent any catching when you stitch. To ensure they stay threaded you may want to hold the eye as you stitch.	Spiral Eye Side Threading Needles Spiral Eye Needles are the original side threading needle with the patented "stop bump" inside the eye to keep it threaded. Available in a large variety of sizes and types of needles. They are made from 100% stainless steel by a small family owned business in America. Notice the slot actually has a channel into the eye, creating a "stop bump", to lock your thread inside of the eye. The geometry of the needle shaft gets largest right before the eye so they glide through the material. The stainless steel used is very strong and resilient, it is hypoallergenic and will never rust.
