The art of easy sculpting. The easiest way to make a detailed 3D form for starters and professionals.


Step 1: Sketch your drawing with a pencil on your block as a guide. Shade the areas that you wish to remove. Then remove the larger unwanted areas with a cutting tool such as a knife or coping saw.	Step 2: Use a riffler, rasp or scraper for removing smaller areas and for adding extra details. Use a file to smooth out rough edges.	Step 3: Sand with a 80 grit sandpaper for refining details or use 120 grit sandpaper for a smooth finish. Use a soft brush in between to remove dust and particles.	Step 4: Coat the surface with an acrylic binder or a quality gesso. Coat up to 2 times. Can be painted with any type of acrylic or oil paint or decorated with any type of material.

You can create highly refined and detailed sculptures. It is very cost-effective compared to wood or stone. Can be glued with any type of glue or coated with plaster, cement, polyester and epoxy.

Sculpture Block is an extremely lightweight, easy-to-shape, high-density, cost effective alternative to wood and stone. It is ideal for all artists and 3D designers who are looking to create highly refined and detailed sculptures and 3D models. These foam blocks will not expand, contract or warp while providing long lasting result. Sculpture Block can be easily shaped using a saw, rasp, scraper chisel or file, and will not oxidize metal tools if not cleaned after use. Once primed with a primer or gesso (2 coats) it can be painted with any type of acrylic or oil paint, decorated with glitter, gold leaf, paper and patina. It can also be coated with plaster, cement, polyester and epoxy and glued with any type of glue or epoxy. ACMI certified as AP Seal, according to ASTM D 4236, and U. S. Labeling of Hazardous Art Materials Act (LHAMA).

Contains 1 block, size 15 x 15 x 5 cm / 5. 9 x 5. 9 x 1. 9 in that conforms to ASTM D 4236. Glue pieces together to create any size desired.
