The perfect go-anywhere reg for divers who like to keep their diving simple and fun, the MK2 EVO first stage with downstream piston features SCUBAPRO's patented XTIS (Extended Thermal Insulating System) to isolate the mechanical elements from the cold. The R195 second stage features a classic downstream valve and comes with a VIVA switch to control free flows.

The Benefits of Piston Technology

The task of a first stage regulator is quite simple: reduce the high-pressure air owing from the tank to a consistent intermediate pressure for delivery to the second stage. By far the best way to accomplish this necessary step-down process is with a piston-style first stage.

A reliable diving workhorse, the MK2 EVO first stage downstream piston-style rst stage offers internal components that are specically designed to resist freezing in extreme cold-water conditions—perfect for both reef diving the Caribbean and wreck diving the Great Lakes.

It's a great entry-level reg for new divers, as well as for veteran divers and travel divers who like to keep their diving simple and aordable.

The MK2 EVO first stage is 3.5mm smaller than its predecessor but houses an oversized piston by 1.6mm that provides better breathing performance and increased airflow. Additional internal technical improvements include a spring insulating bushing and coating, an insulating piston bushing, an insulating sleeve and antifreeze cap.

Classic Downstream R195 Second Stage

A modern second stage design that combines a classic downstream valve with a large diaphragm, the SCUBAPRO R195 reg also features a functional purge button and Venturi-Initiated Vacuum Assist (VIVA) switch for smooth and easy breathing and simple operation.

A sensible safe second stage for all divers, the R195 reg is also perfect for deco tanks thanks to its extra-long hose and reversible hose attachment. It also features an ultra-comfortable orthodontic mouthpiece, a rugged reinforced technopolymer casing, and durable metal valve housing.
