Creamy Chicken & Leek Bake is a creamy recipe mix with lemon, marjoram and parsley for a tasty chicken and leek bake. Usage: For this recipe you will need: 1 sachet Schwartz Chicken & Leek Bake Recipe Mix, 450 g (1 lb) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced, 100 g (4 oz.) bacon, diced, 225 g (8 oz.) leeks, sliced, 450 ml (0.75 pint) semi-skimmed milk and 50 g (2 oz.) Cheddar cheese, grated. Directions: 1. Pre-heat over to 200C, 400F, Gas Mark 6; 2. Fry chicken, bacon and leeks for 5 minutes. Mix sachet contents with milk and pour over chicken. Bring to the boil, stirring and simmer for 5 minutes; 3. Transfer to an ovenproof dish, top with cheese and bake in the oven for 20 minutes; 4. Serve with mashed potatoes. You can try adding cooked pasta to the bake before topping with cheese and baking. Freezing Guidelines: This finished recipe is suitable for freezing. Transfer the cooked recipe to an airtight container, leave to cool prior to sealing. For best results use within 1 month of freezing. Re-heating Guidelines: Defrost thoroughly overnight in a refrigerator.
