EalionMed Silicone Foam Dressing with Sacral Shape is speically shaped to fit for the sacrum area pressure sore. It's used as a all-in-one sacurm foam dressing on shallow wounds or a cover dressing for deeper wounds, idea for moderate to heavy exudate sacral pressure ulcer wound.

Unique technology make sure you can change your dressing as pain free as possbile without damaging your wound or skin around it. No latex is used in the production of this dressing.

Intended Uses

EalionMed silicone foam dressing with sacral shape is speically design to prevent & treat sacurm pressure ulcers, redistribute shear and friction on tissue, effectively absorb & retain wound exudates, but keep the wound sufficient moist environment.

The central absorbent pad should cover the wound completely. No secondary dressing is required, but a self adhesive bandage or tubular bandage can be used for better placement of the dressing in extremities.

How to Use


Step 1 Clean the wound in accordance with normal precedure, ensure surrounding skin is clean and dry before using.	Step 2 Remove the release film and apply the adherent side to the wound without stretch.	Step 3 Smooth the dressing over the wound, remove the remaining release film.	Step 4 Press from the center outward gently, ensure the dressing is adhered all around the wound without crease.

Cautions and Tips

1. Be sure that the central absorbent hydrocellular pad is bigger than the wound size.

2. Hold the dressing by hand for 30 seconds to active the adhesiveness.

3. Prevent cloths or equipment from rubbing on the ends of the patch to longer using.

4. The dressing is waterproof but not shower proof, which means that the liquid will not cross from one side of dressing to the other side but liquid can leak through the edge under the adhesive layer and loosen the adhesion. All silicone adhesive layers are generally water proof and not shower proof.
