Aloe Vera extract Aloe is used externally for the treatment of many skin and scalp disorders and can be applied directly to the skin as a softening agent. Tilia vulg. (Linden – Lime extract)is used externally for itchy skin complaints. It is relaxing and toning for the venous (veins and capillary) system, while thinning the blood. The extract from the flowers of the lime tree (alsoknown as linden tree) contains an essential oil—farnesol—similar to aloe and chamomile. An emollient and soothing agent for the skin and scalp, also used in eye care formulations.
