The 10-24 adapter is less commonly used and is a thinner thread, 90%+ applications use the larger, stronger 1/4-20 adapter. Due to the 10-24 adapter being thinner it may be more acceptable to breaking in car washes, so use caution and perhaps consider easily removing the antenna with the allen key before you go through a carwash. Again, most applications use the 1/4-20 stronger adapter. ✓ RADIO SIGNAL - As with all short Antennas, radio signal performance will be more sensitive when you shorten the length of the antenna. This Antenna will not affect Bluetooth or Satellite radio. Please don't expect to get as many radio stations as your factory long whip antenna mast with this style antenna. ✓ FITMENT - This antenna fits all model years of full-size Ford & RAM Trucks, making it perfect for Ford F150 accessories. This includes Ford Broncos (Not Bronco Sport), Ford Raptor, Ford F150, Ford Lightning, Ford F250 & Ford F350. This truck antenna DOES NOT FIT: roof-mounted applications such as the mid-size trucks, Ford Ranger, Ford Maverick or Ford Bronco Sport. ✓ IMPROVED INSTALLATION & REMOVAL - 1. Unscrew original antenna. 2.Thread on the adapter and snug with the Allen key (included). 3. Slide Antenna over the adapter. 4. Snug the set-screw in place with the Allen key (included). That is all!
