Rolyan Sof-Stretch Extension Splint

Sof-Stretch Extension Splints are an affordable way to promote PIP joint extension. It is ideal for patients with contractures and boutonniere deformity. The brace applies dynamic force from three contact points to create a natural and comfortable bend in the PIP joint with minimal extension of the MCP joint. Plastic-coated wires can be bent to create a user-specific fit beyond sizing. The distal pad of the splint applies pressure evenly by creating complete surface contact. The proximal pad is marked with a 'P' to show which end of the splint should be placed towards the palm. This makes the splint easy to apply properly and ensures efficient recovery.
