How to Care for my Tweezers

Do not drop your tweezers. Doing so may damage the tips.
Do not pull apart the arms of your tweezers to adjust the tension or widen the opening between the tips. Doing so may negatively affect the alignment and tweezing performance.
Keep your tweezers working their best by cleaning them between uses, especially the etching on the insides of the tips. You can swab them with alcohol or use a small brush or spoolie with warm water and soap to clean dirt, oil, hair and debris from the etched surface.
Do not submerge tweezers in liquid or sterilize them in an autoclave. To disinfect, please swab the inside of the blades with rubbing alcohol and allow them to air dry completely.

Pro Tip

After removing each hair, run your fingernail along the grooves on the inside of the tweezer tips to remove deposits of oil, skin or hair. Clogged grooves in the etching can cause your tweezers not to grip as well, especially when grasping short, fine hair.
