The natural formula is made from plant based ingredients and contains no solvents, VOCs, or added fragrances. Soapstone Sealer is made from walnut oil and carnauba wax which is safe for food contact. This makes it ideal for use on kitchen items and countertops. Walnut oil dries and cures with oxygen, offering a protective barrier for stone surfaces which does not have to be continuously reapplied like other products such as mineral oil. Walnut oil is a drying oil and will not go rancid like other oils such as mineral oil, which are non-drying.
