Troubleshooting and FAQ:
Can't locate the adapter's Bluetooth or WiFi?
Reset the network and Bluetooth settings of the iPhone and then restart the phone.
Frozen car screens? Unable to successfully pair? The device is not recognized by the vehicle's head unit?
Update the firmware and if the device asks for a password it is 88888888 (The number 8 repeated 8 times).
Persistent disconnection?
The adapter relies on a WiFi connection to your phone to work. Wi-Fi interference is the primary cause of lost connections. If you have any other wifi-enabled automobile accessories, such as WiFi-enabled car cameras? If so, utilizing the adapter may require you to ignore other wireless networks. Reset your mobile WLAN network to see if this issue gets better. Additionally, it may be worthwhile to try updating the firmware on your adapter (Password is 88888888 if it asks)
Issues with audio input or output include calls being denied or sent to voicemail, no sound playing, a malfunctioning microphone, music playback being paused or interrupted, and voice functioning oddly…
1. Please check your phone's Bluetooth to see whether it is connected to another device. If so, please ignore any additional Bluetooth devices that have connected automatically.
2. When using the dongle, close any background apps that are open on your phone.
Can the adapter pair with more than one phone?
The adapter can be paired with multiple iPhones, but only one device can be connected at a time. Please note, by Bluetooth function default, the adapter’s system will only auto-connect back to the last used iPhone.
Can't connect automatically?
1-In some cars, you need to select "automatic connection" in the CarPlay settings, so that the automatic connection function of the adapter can be used.
2-Make sure that your mobile phone's Bluetooth and WiFi are both turned on and that the Bluetooth is not in use.
3. Clear the pairing history, restart your phone, and pair your adapter again.
