Note: Matters needing attention when installing the printhead
1. The chip on the surface of the print head is very fragile and cannot be bumped during installation. The inner layer is coated with a crystal oscillator and a small ink tube. Once touched, it will be dented, deformed, or even broken and scrapped;
2. Be careful when installing the print head, be sure to cut off the power before installing it in place. After installation, gently push the trolley to move left and right by hand to check whether it is smooth. Do not turn on the power after installation, because if the head is not in place, it is easy to break the head when the trolley moves.
3. When connecting the plug and cable, do not bring ink, and make sure that it is in good contact with the socket, and do not touch the feet, otherwise the print head will be short-circuited and burned;
4. The steel shaft should also be clean and smooth. You can wipe it down with a paper towel dipped in some lube. Do not add oil directly to the shaft. Excess oil can flow to the nozzle and cause damage;
5. After the machinery and circuit are correct, check the waterway. First, check whether the amount of water in the ink cartridge is insufficient; second, check whether the small cleaning blade and the ink suction pump are dirty
6. When installing the print head, be sure to remove the air hole seal according to the instructions, but do not remove other seals at will, otherwise ink will leak;
7. Every time a new print head is installed, it is generally necessary to clean the print head 3-5 times (please clean the print head at least once);
8. When any print head has no ink or is not installed, even if other print heads have ink, the printer will not work;
9. Once the new print head falls off, it is best not to remove it before replacing the print head; unless the print head is to be replaced, do not open the print head protection clip (orange part), otherwise the nozzle may no longer be used;
10. When the printer is working, do not put your hand into the printer or touch the print head; first check whether the ink of a certain color in the ink cartridge has been used up.
