ATC Function For regular refractometer without ATC function, slight temperature change can affect the accurate of salinity measurement, but our brand refractometer is equipped with automatic temperature compensation part inside, during normal temperature, once calibrated, the temperature change would never affect the accurate of your measuring result. This makes it more convenient to use in different temperature.	Dual Scale This measures on 2 scales - specific gravity (D 20/20) and parts per thousand, scale range: 1.000 to 1.070 specific gravity and 0 to 100 per thousand salinity ( or say it 0-100 ppt), the reading resolution is 0.1 %, accuracy: +/-0.1%. With this refractometer, you can get two readings at the same time in just one test, and the scale makes it possible to measure very low concentrated salt solution.	Portable & Easy This refractometer is compact in size and light in weight, it comes with sturdy storage box, and it needs no battery, it is convenient to keep up and carry around. It's super easy to use, just need 2-3 drops of solution and a few seconds, you can get accurate readings, and with the direction of the user manual, you will learn how to calibrate and use the refractometer easily.

Calibration

Accurate measurement based on carefully calibration, please calibrate the refractometer before your first use. The calibration is very easy, the product comes with a detailed operation manual, which will show you how to calibrate and operate it exactly. During normal temperature (50to 86), you don't have to calibrate it frequently, once every a few months is OK, but during temperature below 50or higher than 86, we still recommend you recalibrate it before use to make sure the best accuracy.

Brief Operation Step

After calibration, clean the prism with soft cloth, and then place 2-3 drops of the liquid sample to be tested on the prism, then close the cover plate and make sure the sample spreads across the prism without air bubbles or dry spots. Wait for about 30 seconds to let the reading to stabilize. Align the prism assembly with the light source, look into the eyepiece and you can get the reading.
