Ölweidengewächse werden häufig auch als Zierpflanzen verwendet. Eigenschaften und Inhaltsstoffe: Sanddornkernöl enthält über 80% an essentiellen Fettsäuren insbesondere ca. 30% an alpha-Linolensäure sowie weitere Vitamine, Carotinoide, Fruchtsäuren wie Apfelsäure und Chinasäure und Zuckeralkohole, welche besoners im Samen der frischen, reifen Früchte enthalten sind. Anwendung: Im Vergleich zum Sanddorn-Fruchtfleischöl ist es etwas heller in der Farbe und weniger fruchtig im Geruch und Geschmack.
