Pride Of India Extra Long Indian Premium White Basmati Rice makes dishes that you will never forget. Our organic rice can simply be boiled in a pressure cooker or microwave oven and combined with your favorite curry to make the perfect Indian dish.

If you want to add some flavor to your plain rice, here is how you can do it -

Rinse the rice, drain the water and set it aside. Heat 1 tablespoon ghee in a pan or wok and add 1 whole bayleaf, 1-inch cinnamon bark, 4-5 cloves to it. Once the cumin seeds start spluttering, add the drained rice to it. Sauté the rice for two minutes on a medium flame. Add two cups of water and salt to the rice and mix well. Bring to a quick boil, then reduce the heat to a simmer.

Cover and cook for approximately 5 - 6 minutes, till all the water has evaporated and the rice is cooked through. Top with chopped cilantro and serve hot with your favourite curry!
