Extra soft teat

The Philips Avent anti-colic teats are compatible with the anti-colic bottles. They are super soft and have an integrated anti-colic system which prevents air from entering your baby's stomach. The natural teat attachments can be easily replaced as your baby grows up. The ages are indicated on the teat so you can easily identify when the attachments need to be replaced. So you can always use the appropriate teat depending on the age of your baby. Choose the right one from currently six different attachments at any time. However, we would like to point out that the age information is only guidelines because babies develop at different speeds.

Features:

Slow Flow Teat

2-hole slow flow teat for newborns. It is extra soft, made from BPA-free silicone and has a round shape for natural drinking behaviour.

Anti-colic system.

The integrated anti-colic system in the teat reduces clinically colic and discomfort. When your baby drinks, the special valve in the teat moves to let air into the bottle, not into your baby's stomach.

Breast-like teat

The unique valve on the teat adapts to your baby's suction rhythm. The milk only flows at the speed your baby drinks.

Compatible with our steam sterilisers and bottles

This teat can be sterilised and is therefore particularly suitable for use with the Philips Avent sterilisers. With our bottle warmers you can achieve a gentle and even warming up of your milk to preserve the essential nutrients and vitamins.

BPA-Free teat allows your baby to control milk flow more like breastfeeding, which can help reduce overeating and spit-up. A unique skirt system flexes to allow air into the bottle and promotes healthy, active feeding and reduces colic. Clinically proven to reduce colic:A clinical trial demonstrated that at 2 weeks of age, babies fed with the AVENT Bottle experienced less colic than babies fed with a conventional bottle. Unique anti-colic valve allows air into the bottle instead of baby's tummy: As your baby feeds, the unique skirt on the AVENT Teat flexes to allow air into the bottle instead of your baby's tummy.
