How we got our start

In 1993, Schelchen GmbH introduced its premium product, the VIVA foot support. pedag VIVA was the first all-around supporting insole combining an anatomically shaped foot bed, metatarsal pad and heel cushion. VIVA insoles were created to support your entire foot: heel, arch and metatarsals.

What makes our product unique

VIVA is made with the finest cow hide and the world's first odor preventing, non-latex based activated carbon filter. Since 1993, pedag has introduced an entire "family" of products with the same complete orthotic support as VIVA.

Pedag’s warm feet kit is the ideal gift for winter enthusiasts because it combines a full length winter orthotic that will increase endurance and performance and a warm and cozy shearling insole to help anyone relax after a long day outdoors. Solar plus is a complete orthotic arch support with semi-rigid longitudinal and plantar support, metatarsal pad and shock absorbing heel cushion plus 3 layers of serious insulation from the cold. The top layer is comfortable, pure wool, the middle layer is high tech foam with thousands of air bubbles that trap body heat and the bottom layer is a high tech aluminum barrier that insulates against cold from the ground and keeps your body heat inside your boot or shoe. Solar plus has been awarded the APMA seal for promoting foot health.

Made in Germany. Soft, cozy, shearling sheepskin with an added layer of natural cork insulation. Prevent fatigue and increase outdoor winter endurance and enjoyment. Insulation is pure comfortable wool, high tech heat trapping air bubbles and aluminum heat shield. Solar plus is 3 layers of serious insulation plus a complete semi-rigid arch support, metatarsal pad and heel cushion.
