T-FORM: T shaped metatarsal pad. Needs of the metatarsal area are often neglected. However, once problems develop, the pain and disability they cause can be as severe as those in the mid-foot or heel. T Form is an orthopedic insert that allows the metatarsal bones to retain, or regain, their natural anatomical shape. Lifting the forefoot back into shape relieves pressure and the stinging, burning sensation that you may be experiencing. These symptoms indicate that the stress on your forefeet is leading to nerve damage and the collapse and spreading of the forefoot area. For athletes, such as bicyclists, dancers, runners, tennis player, and others who use their forefoot and toes, T-Form helps to prevent injuries, and long-term problems from developing. T-Form is made of vegetable tanned leather and hypoallergenic latex, with a self-adhesive backing. Those with active pain and inflammation may want to use Pedag Drop until the inflammation subsides. Drop is also a better choice for those without flexibility, and adequate fat pads, in their forefeet. Drop is substantially smaller, yet also helps to lift the metatarsal area and prevent forefoot area problems. For information on which metatarsal pad is right for you, and where to place the pads, please look at some guidelines in one of the pictures above. DIRECTIONS Make sure the forefoot area of the shoe or boot is free of dirt and oils. T-Form and Drop should be placed approximately 2 3 of the way from the back of the heel to the toes-where the metatarsal heads are located. Place the widest part of T-Form and Drop, centered, just BEHIND the metatarsal heads. Remove a small section of the adhesive backing and place the pad in the shoe. Walk around for a few minutes to test if T-Form or Drop is in the right position to lift the arch into the correct shape. Each person will prefer a slightly different position. Once satisfied, using a pencil or pen, place a dot inside your shoe to mark the position on top, bottom, and sides of T-Form or Drop. Repeat this process for each foot. Now, remove the remaining adhesive backing and place T-Form or Drop inside the shoe.T-Form are available in packs of one set and three sets. Each set comes with a right and left pad. Instructions for properly inserting the pads are included, as well as available in the image section of this page. These pads are made in Germany. A latex cushion is surrounded by vegetable tanned goatskin leather for superior comfort, support, and a reduced skid surface. The pads can be washed, but the adhesive will wear off. T-Form comes in four sizes, fitting a wide variety of shoes for both men, women and larger children's feet. Small (W5 - 7) measures 3.31" x 2.5", and is 0.25" thick. They can even be used with barefoot shoes like sandals, without socks, stockings, or hose. pedag T-Form are large pads designed specifically to support your metatarsal pad and maintain toe position. This helps to reduce burning, stinging, and aggravating bunions. These pads use a water based adhesive to stay in place. The surface provides a bit of non-slip action.
