Saugender, selbsthaftender Hydrokolloid-Verband mit semipermeabler, keimdichter Deckschicht bewirkt durch Gelumwandlung der hydrokolloiden Verbandanteile ein feuchtes Wundmilieu, wobei das Gel so lange saugfähig ist, bis die Hydrokolloide gesättigt sind fördert Granulation und Epithelisierung ohne Wundirritation zu entfernen. Der Verbandwechsel verläuft ohne Irritation des jungen Gewebes. Hydrocoll verfügt über eine hohe sofortige Haftkraft, ist hochflexibel und dadurch anschmiegsam und leicht anzumodellieren. Die abgeflachten Ränder unterstützen zusätzlich den guten Sitz auch an Problemzonen. Die keim- und wasserdichte Deckschicht wirkt als zuverlässige Barriere gegen Keime und schützt die Wunde vor Schmutz und Feuchtigkeit. Mobile Patienten können mit dem Verband duschen.
