Our story


How we got our start
Our story starts with Papa Vince, the cute old man on the label. He learned the art of making Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) when working as an apprentice for the Knight of De Stefani at the Medieval Castello of Rampinzeri, Santa Ninfa, Italy.

Our Story Starts...
with Papa Vince, the cute old man on the label.

He learned the art of making Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) when working as an apprentice for the Knight of De Stefani at the Medieval Castello of Rampinzeri, Santa Ninfa, Italy.

Under the Knights careful guidance, GrandPa learned the SECRET ART of making what he used to call “MEDICINE OIL.”

Papa used to tell us that...

...the fresh winds of the hills were the unending source of his orchards health and fruitfulness. This is why we use NO INSECTICIDES, NO HERBICIDES, NO PESTICIDES.

...nocellara del Belice is characterized by its natural sweetness boasting a long shelf life rivaled by few other varieties. This is why Papa Vince is UNREFINED, UNFILTERED and completely RAW.

Papa Vince entered the USA market March, 2013.

Since then, the excitement that our customers share daily through emails, phone calls and in social media has catapulted us to expand our products beyond Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

In 2016 we decided to partner with local artisans in Sicily to bring to our customers the highest quality possible pastas, tomato sauces, vinegar and sea salt, all made in Sicily by locals with local products.
