It is in 2001, in the South of France, in the heart of Provence, that Panier des Sens is born. We develop for almost 20 years our product skills with the masters soap makers from Marseille and parfumers from Grasse unique know-how. Our natural and vegan formulas are designed and conceived in Provence, always encouraging short circuits and local partnerships.

Marseille's long-standing reputation for high quality soaps is based on tradition and rooted in culture. Talented master soap makers have contributed to making this legendary product a universal reference.

Drawing on this unique expertise, Panier des Sens has created a collection of perfumed soaps. With over 95% of ingredients of natural origin, these quadruple milled soaps are made using vegetable oils and are enriched with sheabutter, known for its moisturizing and softening properties.

Manufacturing Process


Saponification Oils, soap noodles , sodium hydroxide and water are added in a recipient according to the product formula. The mixture is stirred to obtain an homogeneous base	Colours and Fragrances Colorings, fragrances, preservatives and water are added according to the formula. Soap is stirred between each additions	Triple milled Soap is rolled three times between large rollers, until a paste is formed. This method permits to have hight quality soaop, whithout impurities.	Moulding and Packaging The soap is pressed and stamped into the soap mould. Soaps is dried 1 week before using and put in its packaging.

Lavender Shea butter soap

Lavender flowers with blue-violet color is an emblematic plant of Provence. Its smell makes it unique: it is strong and slightly camphor.

We harvest it during its flowering from June to August making it the star of Summer !

All of the active ingredients used by Panier des Sens are selected for their natural or Provencale origins. One, however, is distinguished by its exotic provenance and its universal benefits. Shea butter is a natural product issued from the Shea nuts of the Butyrospermum Parkii, a savanna tree that grows in Central and West Africa. This exceptional robustness tree can live for more than three centuries! From the nuts, an ultra rich beige paste is extracted, which will be transformed in butter. Shea butter has many restorative properties. It softens, moisturizes, and deeply nourishes the skin. Rich in vitamins A, D, E, F, and fatty acids, this skin care ingredient naturally has multiple benefits.
