Yes, PairMount 45 lb. Hanger has been test-proven to carry 45 lb. weight on drywall, which is equivalent to the load capacity of conventional 50 lb. metal hanger .

Load capacity of drywall hanger is determined by the material strength of drywall rather than the material strength of hanger body. This is because drywall has weaker strength.
Load capacity of drywall hanger is determined by the maximum weight that causes the hanger to fall off from wall when drywall is deformed and incapable of holding the nails of hanger within wall.

A is the depth of hook,

B is the height of hanger,

Ft is the nail pull-out force.
