Flats are the original cloth diaper still used around the world. Birdseye flats are durable one-size diapers, making them the most economical cloth diapering choice. These diapers do require folding with use of a diaper fastener and diaper cover.

Flat diapers can be used alone for cloth diapering, as absorbent inserts for pocket diapers and AIO cloth diapers.

Such a soft, cotton cloth has a lot more uses: dish towels, burp cloths, lap pads, changing pads, bibs, wash cloths, baby wipes, or gentle, lint-free wipes for your car.
