Some dogs are shaped in such a way that the Ortocanis knee brace may slip off the back.

The belt prevents the knee brace's upper strap from falling off.

Undo the velcro straps on the brace completely before inserting the dog's leg.

Introduce the brace very carefully, making sure not to damage the knee. Once positioned, raise the brace fitting it tightly to the thigh.

Wrap the straps around the waist and adjust the velcro to secure the brace. Adjust the lower strap to ensure maximum comfort.

Gradually introduce the brace and check it periodically for chafing. Remove the support when resting.
