Chicken Curry Ingredients 6-8 chicken pieces, 1 cup grated coconut, 10 roasted red chilies, 2 onions, 1 small, and 1 large, 2 tomatoes, 1" ginger, 6 flakes garlic, 2 green chilies, 1/2 bunch coriander leaves, 1" cinnamon, 3 cloves, Oil for seasoning, Salt to taste Directions Boil the cleaned chicken pieces in a vessel without water. Grind together roasted chilies and coconut with the required amount of water. Halfway through grinding, add chopped onion, ginger, garlic, green chilies, and coriander leaves and grind to make a fine paste. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan and add finely chopped onion and fry till it is brown. Add cinnamon, cloves, and fry for 2-3 seconds. Now, add the ground spice and fry for 5 mins. Fry the chopped tomato and add water and boil the gravy. Transfer this to the cooked chicken and heat it on a low flame for 5 mins. Enjoy with bread or rice. | Barbeque Sauce Ingredients 2 tbsp. oil, 6 cloves garlic, 2 tbsp. tomato paste, 1 tbsp. chili powder, 1 tbsp. paprika, 1 tsp crushed red pepper, 1/4 tsp ground allspice, Pinch ground cloves, 2 cups ketchup, 2 cups water, 1/2 cup cider vinegar, 1/4 cup dark molasses, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1 tbsp. salt, 1 tbsp. soy sauce, 2 tbsp. dried mustard, 1 tbsp. ground black pepper, 1 bay leaf Directions Heat the oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir in the garlic, tomato paste, chili powder, paprika, red pepper, allspice, and cloves and cook, stirring, until the paste is dark brick red, about 3 minutes. Add the ketchup, water, vinegar, molasses, brown sugar, salt, soy sauce, Worcestershire, mustard, black pepper, and bay leaf. Adjust the heat to maintain a gentle simmer and cook until the flavors come together for about 30 minutes. Remove and discard bay leaf before using. | Clove and Cinnamon Coffee Ingredients 2 cups water, 5 teaspoons instant coffee granules, 1/2 cinnamon stick (3 inches), 4 Organic Spice Resource whole cloves, 5 teaspoons sugar, whipped topping. Directions In a small saucepan, combine the water, coffee granules, cinnamon stick, and cloves. Bring to a boil. Remove from the heat; cover and let stand for 5-8 minutes. Strain and discard spices. Stir in sugar until dissolved. Ladle into mugs. Serve with whipped topping if desired. Clove Tea Directions - Grind 1 tablespoon of Organic Spice Resource whole cloves.
- Add a cup of water to a pan, add the cloves and bring it to a boil.
- Let it steep for 3-4 minutes.
- Let it cool, strain, and serve.
