We cold-press our vitellaria paradoxa nuts at 1-4°C (vs. the 60°C+ of typical shea butters) to preserve valuable, heat-sensitive micronutrients. We extract from the first press to ensure stability and a high antioxidant content.

Plus, our FrostProtect* packaging blocks out light, heat and oxygen to stop our shea butter from degrading after it’s opened.

UNDILUTED: We don’t add water or fillers to bulk out our formula. Our pure shea butter is naturally high in vitamins A & E, which nourish skin, hair and nails.

UNREFINED: We source our shea nuts from a local women's co-op in Ghana. It’s unrefined, so it has a higher antioxidant content than heat-processed oils.
