Black Beauty Raisins from Lemberona The Black Beauty Raisin is an ancient variety that used to be cultivated along the Silk Road for its beautiful appearance. In the course of time, like so many things, it was forgotten. But a few years ago, records of this graceful grape variety were found in old books and they were incregly being planted again. The organic Black Beauty raisins are particularly beautiful, shiny black large raisins. The flesh and skin are very soft, intensely sweet and fruity. The raisins are seedless. Origin and production: We source our organic Black Beauty raisins exclusively from Uzbekistan. The area is largely organic and certified and is cultivated by the farmers who live there. The farmers belong to a large community, which consists of 3 groups, Dustkul Bogi, Turkiston Gulba and Turob Bobo. They include around 1,000 individual farmers and their families. Thanks to the cooperation the farmers can offer their families a secure income and their children a new perspective. After the harvest, the Black Beauty raisins are washed and then gently dried with the help of the sun. The drying process used is a very environmentally friendly solar drying method that is extremely gentle on the product.
