Face oils, such as Pumpkin Seed Oil, holds the secret to achieving healthy, radiant, younger looking skin. Rich in zinc, vitamins and essential fatty acids, as well as anti-oxidants, pumpkin seed oils penetrate the skin to transform and protect by building a resilient skin layer known as the lipid barrier.

SEALS IN SERUMS AND MOISTURIZERS

Facial oils are excellent for locking in moisture after applying your facial moisturizers such as lotions or creams. Your daily or night time routine should include either combining the face oil with serums or moisturizers to lock in hydration. Or using it after your moisturizer to seal in everything you have just applied.

When applying to the body, the best time would be after a bath or shower to help lock in the moisture.

CHOOSING THE RIGHT OIL FOR YOUR SKIN TYPE


Acne Prone / Oily Skin For those with oily skin and are prone to acne, we recommend oils that are high in linoleic acids and low on oleic acids. For many, a deficiency in linoleic acids in the body leads to breakouts. A facial oil that is high in linoleic acid helps to keep the sebum levels balanced. The following oils have high linoleic acids and are non-comedogenic, meaning it is less likely to clog pores: Hemp Seed Oil (Linoleic 52%, Oleic 10%) Sunflower Seed Oil (Linoleic 55%, Oleic 29%) Safflower Seed Oil (Linoleic 72%, Oleic 7%)	Normal / Mature / Combination For those with a more balanced skin type, the following oils have a more equal amount of linoleic and oleic acid. Pumpkin Seed Oil (Linoleic 47%, Oleic 32%) Argan Oil (Linoleic 32%, Oleic 47%) Kukui Nut Oil (Linoleic 42%, Oleic 23%)	Dry / Sensitive Skin Tight, irritated, itchy, flaky skin are common symptoms of dry skin. The best oils for dry skin are ones high in oleic acid. If you find yourself breaking out, then your skin might not be considered "dry", but dehydrated. In that case, an oil high in linoleic acid would be more suitable. HOW TO USE

Wash face with your preferred facial cleanser.
Apply serums and facial moisturizers.
Warm a few drops of facial oil between the hands, then gently hold it against the face for a few seconds until the oil is absorbed.
