What is the strength/ratio of this Olive Leaf Extract

Our Olive Leaf Extract is standardised for 20% Oleuropein. This means that you are ensured that each 500mg capsule of Olive Leaf Extract contains 20% Oleuropein. With this dose (500mg) that equates to 100mg of Oleuropein per capsule. The exact extract ratio is variable, as the amount of Oleuropein varies between plants - it is a naturally occurring compound that will depend on a variety of factors such as the health of the tree, the season of growth, nutrients in the soil etc. We use high-quality organically grown European olive leaves that naturally contain high levels of Oleuropein meaning our extract ratio varies between 3:1 and 5:1 in order to ensure 20% Oleuropein. You may notice inferior products that extract at 15:1 or 20:1 ratios in order to ensure 20% Oleuropein. These products are made from poor quality leaves with much lower natural levels of Oleuropein and in turn, require a much more extreme extraction process.

What does 99% Plastic Free mean

Our product is packaged in plastic jars derived from sugar cane that will break down in nature. Our lids are made from brushed aluminium and our labels are printed on plastic-free paper. However, at this point in time, both the internal safety seal and external safety seal contain a very small amount of plastic. We are working with our suppliers to find plastic-free alternatives and we're striving towards a 100% plastic-free product.
