What are your nut butters like

Typically our customers find they aren't as sweet as they expected. These are very 'nutty', subtle, slightly sweet and slightly salted nut butters, with a different flavour to that of peanut butter. Most of our flavours have toasted coconut as an ingredient, so if you're not a coconut lover, be warned!

What do you do with them

They're great on toast, on porridge, in flapjacks or brownies, with ice cream or waffles, or with stewed, dried or raw fruit.

How are they packaged

All our 2-packs are wrapped in used newspaper. But all varieties are plastic-free packed.

How long will my nut butter keep for

Once opened, they are best used within 3 months, stored in a cool, dry & dark place if possible. No need for the fridge.

Are your nut butters peanut-free and gluten-free

Each product is made in a gluten-free and peanut-free site, validated by the independent laboratory checks we've had conducted at values of less than parts/million and 1mg/kg respectively.

Why is there a thick layer of oil on the top of my nut butter

Sometimes a jar will have visible separation (a layer of liquid or set oil on top). We could avoid this using additives - but there's no need. Just get in there with a fork and give the nut butter a proper twist and shout!

Is this crunchy

No - but also not super smooth either. This product has been twice stone-ground, leaving an 'almost-smooth' texture, if that makes sense!

What's the flavour like

Best described as blended sweetened walnuts, but a lot of people reference the flavour of cookie dough.
