Delicious Ginger Cookies

Ingredients

3/4 cup butter, softened; 1 cup sugar; 1 large egg; 1/4 cup molasses; 2-1/4 cups flour; 2 teaspoons FGO Ginger Powder; 1 teaspoon baking soda; 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon; 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves; 1/4 teaspoon salt; additional sugar

Instructions

In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and molasses. Combine the flour, ginger, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves, and salt. Gradually add to the creamed mixture and mix well. Roll into 1-1/2in balls, then roll in sugar. Place 2in apart on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees until puffy and lightly browned, 10-12 minutes. Remove and cool on wire racks.

Ginger Turmeric Smoothie

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup frozen pineapple
• 3/4 cup frozen mango
• 1/2 to 1 teaspoon FGO ginger powder
• 1 teaspoon FGO turmeric powder
• 1 tablespoon ground flax
• 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
• 1 cup dairy or non-dairy milk

Instructions

Toss ingredients into a blender, blend until smooth, and serve! Smile, sip and feel good!

Ginger Pork

Ingredients

1/2 pound pork tenderloin, cut into thin strips; 1 tablespoon canola oil; 1 garlic clove, minced; 2 tablespoons reduced-sodium soy sauce; 1/4 teaspoon sugar; 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon FGO ginger powder; 1/2 cup cold water; 1-1/2 teaspoons cornstarch

Instructions

In a large skillet or wok, stir-fry pork in oil until no longer pink. Add garlic. Cook 1 minute longer. In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, sugar and ginger. Add to skillet. Combine water and cornstarch until smooth - add to skillet. Bring to a boil, cook and stir until thickened, about 2 minutes. Serve with rick and top with green onions and sesame seeds.
