Prep : 10 Minutes Total Time : 30 Minutes + Refrigeration Servings : 2 Dozen Cookies Ingredients: 1 Stick Butter 1/2 cup Crown Maple Sugar 1/2 cup Brown Sugar 1/4 cup Vegetable Oil 1 Egg 2 Tbl Very Dark with Strong Taste Syrup 1/2 cup Pumpkin 2 cups Flour 1/2 tsp Baking Soda 1/2 tsp Cream of Tartar 1/2 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice 1/2 tsp Salt 1/2 cup Crown Maple Sugar, for rolling Directions: Step One In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, cream together the butter, maple sugar and brown sugar until combined Step Two Add the vegetable oil, egg and maple syrup to the creamed mixture. Prep : 15 Minutes Total Time : 45 Minutes Servings : 18-24 Donuts Ingredients: 1/2 cup + 3 Tbl Maple Sugar 1 cup All Purpose Flour 3 1/2 cups Cake Flour 1 1/2 tsp Salt 2 Tbl Baking Powder 1/4 tsp Cinnamon 1/4 tsp Nutmeg 1/4 tsp Ginger 2 Tbl Butter, melted 2 Lg Eggs, room temperature 1 Lg Egg Yolk, room temperature 1 cup Apple Cider, room temperature 1/2 cup Very Dark Maple Syrup, room temperature Vegetable Oil for Frying Additional Maple Sugar Directions: Step One In a large heavy-bottomed dutch oven, heat 4 inches of vegetable oil to 350 degrees, monitoring the temperature witha deep fryer or candy thermometer. Line a pan with paper towels for draining Step Two In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, combine the maple sugar, flours, salt, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger Step Three Whisk together the butter, eggs, egg yolk, apple cider and maple syrup.
