Carefully wash the lenses of your glasses with an oil-free soap and allow them to dry.
Using warm water, place a drop of water inside the lens of your glasses where you are going to apply the Hydrotac lens.
Take a Hydrotac lens and place it on the inside of the lens, making sure the curve of the Hydrotac lens matches the curve of your glasses. Hydrotac lens can be positioned anywhere on your eyeglass lens. Hydrotac lenses should be in the same position, both horizontally and vertically on either lens of your glasses. You can reposition the lenses as long as they are still moist. Repeat this operation with the second lens.
Using a lint-free cloth, gently press the Hydrotac lenses to force out any excess water.
Wear your glasses and make sure your long distance sight is not obstructed by the Hydrotac lens.
If your line of vision is obstructed, remove the lenses using your fingernail. Reposition the lenses as instructed in Steps 2 through 4 above.
If you require the Hydrotac lenses to be smaller, use a sharp scissors to trim the lenses from the lower-curved side. Then, install the lenses as instructed in Steps 2 through 4 above.
While the lenses are fixed to your glasses, complete molecular adhesion will occur in approximately 24 hours. You can always remove Hydrotac lenses using your fingernail to lift the edge.
Hydrotac lenses do not leave any residue behind and can be removed and reused as often as you require.

Hydrotac lenses are created with the same magnification used to correct simple far sightedness and for reading.
Hydrotac lenses can be mounted to sunglasses, safety glasses, welding masks, diving masks, sporting glasses or any other type of eyewear.
Hydrotac lenses are not intended to be used when driving a car or motor vehicle.
Keep Hydrotac lenses out of the reach of young children.

ATTENTION

Hydrotac lenses are meant only for seeing things in close proximity or for reading. They are not designed for long-distance viewing.
There is a front and back of the Hydrotac lens. To determine the front, hold the edge of the Hydrotac lens between your finger and thumb and gently squeeze it to see which way the lens curves. The front will curve outward. This is the side that you should adhere to your glasses. Alternatively, you can lay the Hydrotac lens on a flat surface to determine which is the front side.
Ready-to-wear non-prescription glasses are not intended to replaced prescribed corrective lenses or examinations by an eye care professional. Continuous eye check-ups are necessary to determine your eye health status and vision needs.

What is the recommended method to apply Hydrotac lenses? - Use lukewarm tap water generously on the eyewear lenses and the stick-on lenses. This removes any lint and dust particles which will impede the lenses from sticking. Once you place your lens on the wet eyewear lens you will use your finger to press on the center of the stick-on lens. This will push any air bubbles outward. Then use a cloth or napkin and dab all around your finger, further pushing the air bubbles out. After the lens is dry it is recommended to leave it sitting for 24 hours to complete molecular adhesion.
How do I clean the lenses? - Peel the lenses off and use a generous amount of water to clean the lenses. You may also use an oil-free dish soap. Then repeat the stick-on instructions.
Why are they not staying put? - Use a generous amount of water but do not drown your glasses in water while applying the lenses. While both lenses are wet you will press down firmly on the center and will use a cloth or napkin to press the edges around them down. Once you dry the entire lens and let them sit for a time there should be no slippage.
Are they reusable? - Yes! These are reusable. For optimal reuse quality follow the instructions on this page to keep them clean and sticking for as long as possible.
Do I put them on the inside or outside? - It is highly recommended to stick the lenses on the inside of the lens (the lens side closest to your eyes).
Which way do they go? - Find the curvature of the stick-on lens (it may be subtle, but all stick-on lenses are curved) and match that curve with the curve of your eyewear lens.
How do I get out the air bubbles? - While applying press firmly down on the center of the lens and use a cloth to push out the remaining air bubbles around it.
What should I do if it falls off? - Simply rewash and reapply, using a firmer method and letting it out to dry longer for optimal stick.
Does it matter if I have a coating on my lens? - Coatings can make the stick-on lenses harder to apply (especially anti-fog coatings). Our recommendation is to be much more attentive to the application process, spending more time being sure you properly follow the instructions to minimize any sticking issues.
Can I heat them up to stick better? - No. Hot water will cause the lenses to increase in size. Use lukewarm tap water during the application process.
