Oolong Tie Guan Yin - Premium Loose Leaf Oolong Tea from the Fuijan province of China. INGREDIENTS Oolong loose leaves

BREWING: Allow 1- 1½ teaspoon per cup. Boil the water and wait for 2 to 3 minutes before pouring it onto the leaves. Steeping time: 3 - 5 minutes. The leaves can be steeped multiple times, revealing different layers of flavor with each infusion. The brewing time and water temperature can be adjusted based on personal preferences. USES: Tie Guan Yin holds cultural significance in Chinese tea culture and is often associated with traditional tea ceremonies. It is considered a premium tea and is highly valued for its taste and aroma. BENEFITS: Oolong tea is slightly caffeinated, similarly to green tea. It contains a range of antioxidants, including many found in both green and black teas. It also contains L-Theanine (amino acid) and minerals. ABOUT: Oolong tea is neither black or green - it falls into its own category. It is semi-oxidised and slightly fermented type of tea. Made from the leaves, buds and stems of the Camellia sinensis plant, the tea has characteristic curly shapes and a complex flavour profile, floral notes and a lingering sweetness. ORIGIN: This tea comes from the Fuijan province of India – a mountainous region famous for good tea. The term “Tie Guan Yin” in English means: “Iron Goddess of Mercy” and it is a highly regarded type of Oolong tea.
