ANGEL FOOD CAKE PARFAIT WITH FRESH MIXED BERRIES & VANILLA FIG CHANTILLY CREAM

Ingredients:

Pre-made Angel Food Cake, Fresh Mixed Berries

Chantilly cream: 1 C whipping cream, 2 Tbsp powdered sugar, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 1-2 Tbsp OMG Vanilla Fig Barrel Aged Balsamic Vinegar

Directions:

Lightly rinse and pat dry the berries. Tear the angel food cake into bite-sized chunks (no need to be even). Start with placing half of the cake chunks in bottom of container. Sprinkle a layer of fresh mixed berries. Spread half of Chantilly cream over berries. Repeat steps 3-5. Decorate top with leftover berries. Serve.

BLACKBERRY MERINGUE COOKIES

2 large egg whites; 6 TBS granulated sugar; 1 TBS OMG! Blackberry Barrel Aged Balsamic Vinegar; pinch salt

• Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper. Preheat the oven to 225°F.
• Using a stand mixer with the whisk attachment, whip the egg whites and salt on high speed until soft peaks form, about 30 seconds. Reduce speed to medium and pour in the sugar while the mixer is running. Pour in the blackberry balsamic vinegar and whip until just combined. Stop the mixer and scrape down the sides of the bowl, making sure to scrape the bottom to make sure everything is incorporated evenly. Whip on high speed until the mixture is glossy, stiff, and all the sugar has dissolved, about 30 seconds to 1 minute.
• Using a pastry bag fitted with a star tip, pipe meringues onto the baking sheets in 1 ½ inch swirls (the cookies should look similar to icing on the top of a cupcake).
• Bake for 1 hour. Turn off the oven and leave the pans inside until the oven and the meringues are completely cool.

BALSAMIC - GLAZED SALMON

Who doesn’t love a quick dish? I'm always trying to find quick and easy recipes I can throw in the oven while working. Made some salmon with this Classic Barrel-Aged Balsamic Vinegar from @omggourmet. I loved the quality of this product, thick and rich in flavor.

Ingredients: Quick Mix Salmon Minced Garlic White wine Honey Salt and pepper to taste @omggourmet Classic Barrel-Aged Balsamic Vinegar

Deets on the sauce: Over medium heat, cook and stir garlic until soft, about 3 minutes. Mix in white wine, honey, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper. Simmer, uncovered, for about 3 minutes, or until slightly thickened. If baking, pour over salmon fillets and bake @ 400 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes. Stovetop add salmon to sauce and cook on low heat for 10 to 15 minutes.

RASPBERRY BALSAMIC CHICKEN THIGHS WITH A SIDE OF SWEET POTATOES

Directions: Combined the @omggourmet Raspberry Balsamic Vinegar with soy sauce, fresh-squeezed lime juice, and some brown sugar and let the chicken sit in this marinade overnight. Baked them in the oven and served them with some baked sweet potatoes. Drizzled a little more of the @omggourmet Raspberry Balsamic Vinegar over the chicken and sweet potatoes and topped them off with some fresh scallions!
