Supplement Form
There are two pieces of the puzzle when it comes to supplement form. Firstly, the dose (or size and amount) and the physical form. Dose can be confusing, often with companies trying to outcompete with higher numbers. To keep it simple, we recommend a daily dose of two capsules. However, if you require more (or less) omega in your diet, please see the below for reference.
- 1 capsule = Omega 3 fish oil 1000mg or omega 3 6 9 1000mg
- 2 capsules = Omega 3 fish oil 2000mg or omega 3 6 9 2000mg
- 3 capsules = Omega 3 fish oil 3000mg or omega 3 6 9 3000mg
The physical form of products varies a lot, and it's all to do with where inside our bodies the contents is to be absorbed. Unless for children, where it's usually to do with them being able to chew instead of having to swallow. Often children take chewable gummies, although this isn't optimum for absorption.
