Warning and Precautions:

Reduce the dose or discontinue use if you experience abdominal pain, cramps, spasms, or diarrhea. Contraindications:

Do not use this product if you experience a sudden change in bowel habits that persists for more than 2 weeks, undiagnosed rectal bleeding, or difficulty defecating after using another laxative. Do not use if you have diabetes that is difficult to regulate, difficulty swallowing, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not use in cases of abnormal constrictions of the gastrointestinal tract, potential or existing intestinal blockage, atonic colon, appendicitis, inflammatory bowel disease (e.g., Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis), abdominal pain of unknown origin, severe dehydration with depleted water or electrolytes, hemorrhoids, or diarrhea.
