Use of Citric Acid in the Kitchen


Dishwasher descaler 1. Add 10 spoonfuls (150g) of Citric Acid to the bottom of an empty dishwasher. 2. Run the dishwasher on a normal program.	Sink Cleaner 1. Sprinkle Citric Acid onto a damp sponge. 2. Rub the Surface clean until all signs of grime have been eliminated. 3. Rinse with lots of water. 4. If any grime remains, put the citric acid directly onto the stain and leave it to work overnight, the following morning rub well until it has disappeared.	Cleaning burnt bases 1. Leave the frying pans and pots overnight to soak. 2. The following morning, sprinkle Citric Acid in the bottom of the damaged receptacle. 3. Leave it to act for 5 minutes and after, rub with a sponge to remove the burnt food. 4. Rinse throughly before using.

Citric Acid Use in Bathrooms


Shiny taps 1. Sprinkle Citric Acid onto a damp sponge. 2. Rub the taps gently. 3. Rinse with hot water and dry the surface with a clean, dry cloth.	Tile cleaning 1. Apply Citric Acid to a sponge or damp cloth. 2. Rub the Surface clean. 3. Lastly, rinse with water and dry with a clean, dry cloth.	Toilet cleaning 1. Sprinkle a cup of Sodium Bicarbonate (approximately 250 g) inside the toilet bowl and let it sit for 30 minutes. 2. Add 3 tablespoons (50 g) of Citric Acid and rub the area with a toilet brush. You can also rub with a sponge to clean the most affected areas or wherever the brush cannot reach. 3. Once clean, flush to rinse the toilet bowl.

Uses for Citric Acid in the garden


To clean plant pots 1. Pour a small amount of Citric Acid into the inside of the plant pot. 2. Rub with a damp sponge. 3. Rinse with water and dry with a clean, dry cloth. 4. In order to clean the external parts of the plant pot, sprinkle Citric Acid directly onto a damp sponge, rub and rinse.	Remove the grease from barbecues 1. Add Citric Acid directly onto the barbecue rack. 2. Rub vigorously with a damp sponge. 3. Use a metal bristle brush to clean embedded grease and soot residues. 4. Lastly, rinse with water.	To clean garden tools 1. Submerge the tools in clean, hot water and leave them to soak for a couple of hours. 2. Sprinkle Citric Acid onto a damp sponge. 3. After this time, remove the soaked tools and rub them with a sponge containing Citric Acid. 4. In order to eliminate the embedded grime, using a special brush for metal can help. 5. Lastly, rinse with water and dry the tools with a clean, dry cloth.
