CoQ10 absorption has always been a hurdle when trying to maximize CoQ10 benefits. In fact, less than 1% of orally dosed CoQ10 actually makes its way into the bloodstream after passing through the gastrointestinal tract. CoQH-CF is specially formulated in its ubiquinol form using Kaneka ubiquinol which is designed to provide enhanced bioavailability of CoQ10. CoQ10 comes in two forms, ubiquinone (the oxidized form) and ubiquinol (the reduced form). Ubiquinol is the dominant form of CoQ10 in our liver and blood.
