What does GAIWAN mean?

Gaiwan is a cup with a lid in which tea was brewed thousands of years ago, long before the invention of today's popular teapot. To differentiate, we write the tea brand GAIWAN in capital letters.

Where are the teas produced?

Our loose teas are carefully produced in Hamburg. As far as possible, the teas are pre-produced at the place of origin and processed in Hamburg.

How are the teas packaged?

Our teas are delivered in block bottom bags. For storage, we recommend our sustainable glass tea caddy.
