How do you use it
- Find a suitable place to lie down for about 10 minutes. This can be on a bed, couch, floor, yoga mat or recliner.
- Place the neck support of the device in the middle of your neck. Start with gentle traction (the convex side goes under your head to reduce discomfort on first use.)
- Reposition yourself on the device, up or down your spine, to find the position that feels most comfortable to you. Bend your knees and place your hands next to your head.
- Once you feel comfortable, allow your neck to remain further in the support. Take slow, deep breaths to help relax. (You need to stick with it at this point and not stop.)
- Notice how the support strengthens your posture. At this point, you may observe that you are releasing tension.
- You may notice that your head, neck and shoulder muscles relax further and your posture becomes more aligned.
- Reposition yourself every few minutes to prevent localized fatigue. If necessary, you can readjust your posture.
- Like any new exercise, start slowly. Use a gentle level of support for 5 minutes, then reassess if you can use it for another 5 minutes. When you feel comfortable, then gradually advance.
- If you feel you can use more neck support, use a neck support with strong traction (concave surface below the head.)
Note: At first, you may feel slight discomfort as your muscles and joints adjust to the new position. If you experience pain, stop using the device and consult your health care professional.
This product is waterproof. If there is an odor, simply use warm water with liquid soap or any disinfectant commonly used in the home or medical facility and leave it in a well-ventilated area for 24 to 48 hours. (Material odor is healthy and 100% PU harmless to humans.)
Cleaning advice - The product is easy to clean, you just need to wipe it with a damp rag to finish cleaning.
