Each JointEeze film-coated tablet contains 300mg of dry extract from Devil's Claw root (Harpagophytum procumbensD.C. and/or H. Zeyheri L. Decne radix) equivalent to 1050-1500mg of Devil's Claw root.

Devil's Claw is an African folk remedy, traditionally used by the Hottentots, Kalahari Bushmen and the Bantu people. The name of this plant is derived from its fruit, which have large woody hooks – designed to disperse seed – which can occasionally cause irritation to livestock after becoming lodged in the mouth, feet or hooves.
