Witch Hazel is an astringent compound produced from the leaves and bark of the North American Witch Hazel shurb (Hamamelis).

Native Americans used extracts of witch hazel extensively for medicinal purposes and the early Puritan settlers adopted this remedy.

It is still widely used in commercial skin preparations.

Witch Hazel is ideal for topical use, and is commonly used as a skin tonic and cleansing lotion to dry and cleanse the skin.

Soak cotton wool with the solution and gently dab onto the skin. Concentrate on the ‘T-Zone’ and other problem areas.

Do not apply to broken skin.
