Vegetable Glycerine is a very popular ingredient in soap making. Typically used between 10 – 15 % in soap making helps to boost moisture in soap, helps prevent them drying out skin and gives the soap a lovely soft, moisturising feeling on the skin.

DIY Beauty

Use Vegetable Glycerine at around 5% in your homemade selfcare beauty products, helping to add additional moisture and conditioning properties. It is water soluble and easy to use. You can add a couple of drops to your moisturising creams to boost the skin softening powers.

Glycerites

You can use Vegetable Glycerine to create alcohol free tinctures known as glycerites. Steeping herbs and other plant material in glycerine, extracts the constituents of the plant into the glycerine which than can be used to enrich your homemade creams, serums and soaps.
