Avocado Oil Uses


Hair Smooth couple of drops of Avocado Oil through the lengths of your damp hair to nourish and condition. Alternatively, apply a generous amount of oil to damp hair, cover with an old towel and leave the oil to nourish your hair for at least half an hour. Lather your shampoo before adding water, to begin to emulsify the oil to help it rinse out easier. Style as normal.	Skin Massage a few drops of Avocado Oil into your skin on your face and neck before going to bed. Its moisturising powers will leave your skin nourished and hydrated. You can combine it with a lighter textured oil to create your own facial oil. Rosehip and Jojoba are popular choices.	Massage As with most carrier oil, Avocado Oil works effectively as a massage oil. With its slower absorption speed, it allows the hands to glide over the skin, giving plenty of time to perform the massage. You can transform Avocado Oil into a powerful massage oil blend by adding your favourites essential oils, enhancing the benefits of massage.	DIY Beauty This beautiful oil can be used in your homemade facial serums, toners, body oil, bath oil, massage oil, creams, lotions and balm. Can be used as an effective but gentle oil facial cleanser and make up remover.

Hot Oil Hair Treatment

40ml Avocado Oil
30ml Extra Virgin Olive Oil
30ml Argan Oil
0.5ml (10 drops) Rosemary Essential Oil
0.5ml (10 drops) Peppermint Essential Oil

Measure the ingredients and mix well. Transfer to a suitable bottle and label.
How much you need will depend on the length and thickness of your hair but start with around 20ml.
Warm the oil in the microwave, taking care not to make it too hot as you don't want to burn your scalp.
Liberally apply the warm oil to your hair, ensuring you coat from root to tip (you can warm more oil if you need to).
Cover with an old towel and leave for at least an hour, longer if you want to.
Shampoo and style as normal. Repeat the treatment once a week.
