Myrrhentinktur Hofmann's. Mund- und Rachentherapeutikum.

Myrrhentinktur Hofmann´s wird als pflanzliches Arzneimittel zur Behandlung leichter Entzündungen von Zahnfleisch und Mundschleimhaut (Gingivitiden, Stomatitiden) eingesetzt. Prothesendruckstellen können mit dieser Tinktur ebenfalls behandelt werden.

Myrrhentinktur Hofmann´s wird unverdünnt auf die entsprechenden Stellen aufgetupft oder mit Wasser verdünnt zum Spülen oder Gurgeln im Mund und Rachenbereich verwendet.

Arzneipflanze des Jahres 2021

Myrrhe bezeichnet das in Nordostafrika und Arabien heimische getrocknete, aromatisch riechende Gummiharz aus der Rinde verschiedener Commiphora-Arten. Die bekannteste Art ist die Echte Myrrhe (Commiphora myrrha).

Bereits im Altertum wurde dieses aromatisch riechende Harz als wertvolles Gut über lange Handelswege transportiert und galt seit jeher auch als wertvolles Heilmittel, welches vor allem der Wundversorgung diente.

Heute sind für Myrrhe-Zubereitungen adstringierende, antimikrobielle sowie antientzündliche Eigenschaften nachgewiesen. Verantwortlich dafür sollen unter anderem die typischen Furano-Sesquiterpene-Bestandteile des ätherischen Öls sein. Insbesondere in Form von Tinkturen wird Myrrhe zur lokalen Behandlung leichter Entzündungen der Mund- und Rachenschleimhaut eingesetzt.

Anwendung der Tinktur

Dosierung:

Soweit nicht anders verordnet, werden die betroffenen Schleimhautstellen 2- bis 3-mal täglich mit der Myrrhentinktur Hofmann´s betupft.

Zum Gurgeln oder Spülen werden 5 - 10 Tropfen Tinktur in ein Glas Wasser gegeben und ebenfalls 2- bis 3-mal täglich über den Tag verteilt angewandt.

Aufbewahrung

Arzneimittel für Kinder unzugänglich aufbewahren.

Vor Licht geschützt und dicht verschlossen aufbewahren.
