Hot Chocolate

A truly indulgent Hot Chocolate

Heat 180ml of milk in a saucepan.

Add 3 to 4 teaspoons of Mortimer Chocolate Powder.

Whisk until dissolved.

Pour into a mug and enjoy!

Ideal to use with free-from milk alternatives.

Gorgeous Chocolate Brownies

This had to be the most popular recipe with our customers.

Ingredients:

100g Mortimer Chocolate Powder, 125g Butter, 200g Caster Sugar,

75g Plain Flour, 2eggs

Method:

Melt butter over a low heat. Add chocolate powder and whisk until melted. In a bowl beat together the eggs and sugar. Stir in the melted chocolate. Sieve in the plain flour and beat until smooth.

Pour into a lined 9 inch square tin and bake at 180 degC (160 deg C fan ovens, Gas Mark 4) for 20 mins.

Regional Judging took place at the Essex Food & Drink Festival. Head judge Valentina Harris and her team picked our West African Chocolate to go forward to the finals in Borough Market in October 2018.

To have been selected by such a respected group of judges was truly wonderful.
